Twelve Days of Christmas Celebration


The twelve days of Christmas celebration begins on December 25th. It is known as Christmastide. The twelfth day of this celebration is on 5th January. The celebrations of Christmas end on the night of twelfth day. This day is followed by the Feast of the Epiphany which is celebrated on 6th January.
According to some beliefs the first day of Christmas celebration begins on 26th December and thus it would end on 6th January. It is a very complex task to find the exact origin for the twelve day celebrations.
